This is my completed contents page, as you can see i have used a picture as my background, i used brick lane for my location photography as i thought it resembles dance music because of the graffiti and bright colours. The location where i took my photography had blue street lights which made my picture have a blue tint which i tried to minimise. Also i followed the margins given on InDesign to make the layout of my text symmetrical.
I like how you used the gradient map to separate the background with the text in front, however you should look at colours as it still blends with the background. For example "music" and "features" blends with the yellow form the hand or face. Also the white is a bit hard to read however it can be fixed by adding a shadow or outline to it.
ReplyDeleteI think your contents page is quite nice, I like how you used your image as a background rather than placing it as an image as this way your contents doesn't look like there are less images used and it makes it much easier to place features and other things on it. I like how you have made the main titles yellow and the details in white as it makes it stand out and looks eye catchy. The only improvement I would say would be to move the word contents slightly to the left so it is in the center of the line rather than more to the right. Overall, it's a good contents page :)
ReplyDeleteYour contents page is well structured overall and I think it suits the music genre effectively and there is not much to improve. The only issue the reader might have is that the white text may be too small for the reader and could be improved by increasing the font size a little.
ReplyDeleteYour contents page looks very professional and really goes well with your chosen genre as well the font size. I really like your background picture, although I feel like you should include more pictures as you get more marks for adding more pictures.
